Partner in JMW Solicitors’ Catastrophic Injury department and a Special Ambassador for the Child Brain Injury Trust. Gordon specialises in very high-value personal injury claims. Gordon has a special interest in paediatric brain injury claims, regularly securing seven figure settlements on behalf of his clients.  Recent notable case settlements include: a settlement of £5m for a child who suffered a brain injury as a result of a road traffic accident and £2.73m for a child who was knocked over whilst crossing the road and suffered a brain injury. The case of DB, whose above the elbow amputation claim settled for in excess of £1.5m. He is heavily involved in building linkages with external charitable organisations specialising in helping victims of catastrophic injuries, such as the Child Brain Injury Trust and Headway. Gordon is a passionate advocate for his clients to ensure that injury victims of catastrophic accidents receive a quality standard of care for the remainder of their lives.  Current caseload includes a number of paediatric and adult brain and spinal cord injury claims where seven-figure settlements are expected.
