Benjamín previously worked in Olleros Abogados and Deiuris, where he spent most of his career as a Partner.

With a Degree in Law and Criminology, Benjamín specializes in criminal matters and has experience in socioeconomic crime and criminal liability of legal persons (Criminal Compliance). Concerning civil matters, he specializes in Intellectual and Industrial Property as arbitrator in the Arbitration Court of the BAR Association of Valencia.

Benjamín has extensive experience in Corporate Law, having participated in complex banking products acting as a civil and corporate mediator. Benjamín is also a specialist in civil and criminal procedural law, and has been involved in all types of civil and criminal lawsuits, and urging many bankruptcy proceedings. He also has extensive experience in the public sector, in which he has represented numerous municipal corporations and local authorities in different criminal proceedings.

Madrid-based Javier Mata has extensive experience in insolvency proceedings and frequently represents companies from a range of sectors, including infrastructure, construction, energy, and technology. Mata co-leads the practice alongside Marta Morales, based in Sevilla; she is recognised as ‘outstanding in all aspects‘ and advises on restructurings. Andersen‘s dispute resolution practice supports clients in arbitration, litigation, and insolvency proceedings, as well as compliance matters. The firm’s focus extends to areas such as shareholders disputes, unfair competition, and product liability, with a particular emphasis on the construction, finance, cybersecurity, and the food and beverages sectors. The team is co-led by Pablo Doñate, a civil and commercial litigation specialist based in Madrid, and Benjamín Prieto from Valencia. Also of note is the firm’s co-managing partner Íñigo Rodríguez-Sastre, who regularly represents multinational corporates in both ordinary courts and international arbitration proceedings.
