Matthijs is partner of the firm and co-heads the corporate/M&A department. He has a corporate law practice with a clear emphasis on corporate transactions. Matthijs negotiates and advises on M&A, commercial contracts, governance issues, joint ventures, management buy-outs, restarts and participations. Matthijs represents companies, shareholders, management and investors and frequently works for clients engaged in marketing, media, internet, IT and real estate.
Before the formation of Florent (2017), Matthijs was a partner at Höcker.
