The firm: Gissin & Co was founded in 1994, and has been involved in all of the largest and most high-profile bondholder debt settlements in Israel. Adv Gissin is consistently recognised as one of the most influential Israeli lawyers in this field, personally responsible for many legal precedents.
The firm’s litigation department has extensive experience in corporate and securities disputes and it handles complex and high-profile security holder’s claims, officers and directors’ liability, shareholders disputes etc.
The firm is a pioneer in the field of Israeli cross-border restructuring and debt settlements, and was responsible for a significant legal precedent by the Israeli Supreme Court, allowing the liquidation process of a foreign company issuing bond in Israel, to be conducted in Israel.
