Position

Anastasios heads the Competition, TMT and IP practice of Antoniou McCollum & Co.  He is a practicing Barrister (Inner Temple) and Advocate (Cyprus).

Anastasios has been consistently ranked by The Legal 500 as leading individual in EU law and competition law and is included in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame. He was ranked as Lawyer of the Year in Cyprus by Best Lawyers in 2022.

He advises clients on transactions in regulated industries, competition law, merger control and EU regulatory matters.

The clients Anastasios advises are active in a range of sectors, including audiovisual media services, digital content and digital services, private equity and investment fund management and consumer retail.

He is the Cypriot member of the European Competition Lawyers Forum. He has authored books and articles on competition law and international law.

Anastasios also acts for clients in high-profile commercial litigation and investment arbitration disputes.

Career

Anastasios established his law practice in 2009, after practicing as an associate at a top tier law firm. He also served as the country law leader of a global firm.

He is a Barrister (Inner Temple) and an Advocate (Cyprus).
