Co-founder of KARMAN ASSOCIES, Erwan has been a lawyer since 2007.

A graduate of Sciences Po (Paris), first in his class of the postgraduate diploma in Law and Practice of Labor Relations (Droit et pratique des relations de travail – DPRT) of the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas where he taught for several years, Erwan began his career at Bredin Prat before practicing at the law firm Flichy Grangé, and then founding Vivant Chiss in 2015.

His preferred areas of practice are collective labor relations and restructuring, in which he mainly advises large French and international groups as well as mid-cap companies.

Erwan has also developed a recognized expertise in collective bargaining, particularly within professional branches, as well as in the support of corporate M&A operations.

Erwan assists clients in all their HR projects (changes in working hours, implementation of their salary policy, training policy and professional employment and career management (GEPP), definition of their employee savings schemes, etc.) as well as in their complex individual and collective disputes.

Erwan has been recognized as “one of the 30 lawyers who will embody the next generation of the business lawyers’ community in 2020“.

Erwan is also qualified as a “reputed contributor” by Legal 500.

He regularly appears in the media to shed light on developments in labor law.
