Kristof obtained his law degree at the KU Leuven in 2007 and completed another LLM in European and International Environmental and Energy Law. He is a member of the Bar of the province of Antwerp.

Kristof joined the firm Schoups in December 2013, after working more than five years as a lawyer at DLA Piper UK LLP and Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick.

Kristof specializes in public law. He advises clients and litigates before the administrative courts and civil courts on environmental law. Environmental law includes spatial planning in the broad sense of the word as well as energy law. The awarding of public contracts, real estate law and the legal aspects of project development also fall within his field of expertise.

He regularly publishes on these matters and advises clients in the field of project development.
