Career
Before establishing Rizkana & Partners, Sherif spent more than 9 years with a leading international law firm in Egypt. Sherif El Hosseny is one of the founding Partners of R&P. He has more than 17 years of experience in leading local and international firms.
Sherif primarily focuses on aviation (mainly aircraft finance), banking & finance and project finance, renewable energy, general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and hospitality. He spent several years as an in-house counsel in a private investment company that has investments nationally and internationally in sectors including aviation, banking, manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality.
Furthermore, he advised numerous Egyptian and multinational leading banks and financial institutions in connection with various high-value syndicated facilities and loans, project finance, settlements of debts and debt restructures.

Sherif obtained the IATA Diploma in Air Law in 2010 and holds a Master’s degree in International Air and Space Law, with honours, from Leiden University in 2005. Additionally, Sherif also holds both an LLB. degree from Cairo University in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a major in International Relations and a minor in Western European History, from the American University in Cairo in 1999
