Career

– In cooperation with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP successfully represented the Finance and Capital Market Commission, which acted on behalf of the Republic of Latvia, with respect to the claim submitted by Bryn Services Ltd. against the Republic of Latvia, based on the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Latvia and the Federal Council of the Swiss Confederation on the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments within the International Arbitration Court proceedings (MUSD 26).

 – Assistance to the state owned company Valsts nekustamie īpašumi (State Real Estate), a manager of the state owned real estates, with respect to the fire, which occurred on 21 June 2013 in the residence of the President of the State – Riga Castle during the reconstruction and renovation works (MEUR 33).
