Rutger Jansen specialises in corporate law and contracting law, with a focus on projects, mergers and acquisitions, asset transactions, joint ventures and restructurings in the energy and technology sectors. Rutger advises both national and international clients.
Prior to founding Biesheuvel Jansen advocaten in 2014, Rutger worked for Stibbe both in Amsterdam and in London.
Rutger is a member of the Dutch Bar Association (2005).
Rutger holds a masters in law from the University of Amsterdam (corporate law) and an LL.M. in European Private Law from the Università degli Studi di Siena (Siena, Italy) (cum laude). He also attended INSEAD’s MBA Highlights Programme (Fontainebleau, France).
