Career
Ezgi joined the team in 1999 and is specialized in tax law, and she provides consultancy related to settling tax and customs disputes by both administrative and judicial means for companies in various sectors. Ezgi moved on to gain experience in the area of complex tax and customs dispute resolutions, becoming an expert on tax law and working in the field of administrative and judicial conflict resolution of tax and customs disputes.
For the last couple years Ezgi has led her team providing dispute consultancy on corporate tax issues for the Turkish operations of leading internet-based companies. She is very experienced in disputes related to the taxation of online services and in highly complex transfer pricing and customs disputes in various sectors. With her sophisticated approach to litigation processes which apply the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights) to tax disputes she has made substantial contributions to judicial precedents in Turkey.
Ezgi has also focused on contributing to development of women in tax and with her career in complex tax and customs providing services that considers the most comprehensive perspective; she became one of the faces looked for in various sectors.
