Chani leads and manages a Serious Injury team in the London office.
He specialises in complex serious injury cases representing clients with brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and complex orthopaedic injuries.
He also deals with high profile fatal claims and has a specialist interest in insurance indemnity and MIB issues.

He is passionate about helping our clients get the best rehabilitation after suffering life changing injuries. He has expertise in securing substantial interim payments for the purpose of providing rehabilitation, private care packages and accommodation.
He trained at Irwin Mitchell and qualified into the Serious Injury team. He is responsible for a team of solicitors specialising in a wide range of complex serious injury cases.
His recent work includes:
- Representing a client at a complicated 10-day trial at the Royal Courts of Justice after they had suffered brain injuries in a road traffic accident
- Representing a client at trial after they suffered a severe brain injury when hit by a car, against strong opposition from the drivers’ insurers
- £10.4m compensation for a client who suffered a catastrophic brain injury due to an accident at work
- £1.82m compensation and ongoing £55,000 payments for a client who needs life-long care after a severe brain injury
- £2.7m compensation for a client who had to have a leg amputation after being hit by a car
- A substantial interim payment to pay for a Exoskeleton ReWalk device which will let a client with paraplegia to walk
- Represented the wife and daughter of the man who died in the Crossrail fatality.
