National head of construction and engineering Mark Clinton leads Irwin Mitchell‘s South East construction team from the firm’s Gatwick office. The team acts for clients predominantly based in London and the Home Counties in sectors including education, manufacturing, energy, and housing. Cladding has been a significant focus in recent years, including Clinton’s work leading a group of freeholders and managing agents in negotiations with government over the terms of the Building Safety Fund. He is assisted in this by associate Natalie Cane, also based in the Gatwick office. Cane also boasts broad experience in non-contentious work, in particular drafting contracts and advising on appointments and funder warranties.
