The 'very attentive' contractor-focused oil and gas lawyers at Ince & Co 'have an outstanding knowledge base of the industry and react quickly as the matters develop'. In recent highlights, the practice handled the sale and leaseback of an LNG carrier to Chinese state-owned shipping company COSCO on behalf of Golar, and Jonathan Goldfarb - assisted by Mona Patel and Stephen Jarvis  - provided cross-border counsel to longstanding Gaslog with regards to an SPA to acquire 20% shareholding in Gastrade. On the contentious front Chris Kidd continues to lead the advice to a drilling contractor in connection with a claim against a shipyard arising from the severely delayed construction of a deep water drilling rig due to the shipyward's alleged failure to deliver the vessel on time. Simon Hems heads the practice and is also a key name to note alongside Renaud Barbier-Emery and Matthew Stratton .
