Andrew is based in the Paris office, which he founded in 1991, and is dual qualified in England and France. He has over twenty years’ experience in advising on English and French commercial and corporate matters.

Andrew is a Director of the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce in Paris.

Andrew specialises in the purchase and sale, construction, financing, chartering and registration of large yachts and as such has extensive experience of representing clients in relation to all aspects of the yachting industry.

Aviation

Andrew handles transactional business aviation matters, namely negotiation and documentation of sales, purchases, finance and leasing, management, regulatory issues, corporate structuring and registration.

Business and Finance

Andrew provides corporate and commercial advice to French and international businesses, including commercial contracts, employment, insolvency, real estate, disposals of companies, businesses and assets, start-ups, joint ventures and shareholder agreements.

Clients

He acts primarily on behalf of owners and banks in relation to yachts and corporate jets. On the business and finance side, his clients include international banks, French and international companies, entrepreneurs and sole traders.

  • advising the buyer on the acquisition of a pre-owned Falcon 7X corporate jet, to include setting up the ownership structure
  • assisting the buyer with the acquisition of a new Falcon 7X corporate jet and the trade-in of a Falcon 2000S
  • advising a client on the acquisition of a 32m Turkish flagged motor yacht and registration under Marshall Islands flag
  • advising the lender with regard to the financing of the construction and delivery of an 81m Abeking & Rasmussen motor yacht
  • assisting the seller in relation to the sale of a 50m Benetti motor yacht under Cayman Islands flag
  • assisted the buyer in relation to the acquisition of a 45m Abeking & Rasmussen commercial motor yacht flying UK flag together with a berth in Malta.
  • advising the lender with regard to the post-delivery refinancing of a 61m Amels motor yacht under Cayman Islands flag
  • assisting the buyer with the vessel construction agreement for a 70m Feadship motor yacht to be delivered in 2016
  • advised a client with the acquisition of a pre-owned Challenger CL600 corporate jet and the trade-in of a Dassault Falcon 900
  • assisting the French subsidiary of a multinational manufacturing company with a range of commercial agreements and advice to include general terms and conditions, supply contracts, joint ventures, financial guarantees, insolvency
