Stavroula focuses on ship finance and other transactions in the maritime sector. She has experience of documenting ship financing and refinancing arrangements, together with newbuilding and second hand ship sale and purchase contracts.

Stavroula specialises in shipping and trade transactions. Her experience includes the preparation of loan and security documentation in bilateral and syndicated loan facilities and restructurings, sale & purchase contracts and deposit and closing arrangements.

Her expertise extends to representing clients in dry shipping disputes in London Arbitrations and before the High Court of England and Wales. In this area, Stavroula’s experience includes advising on disputes arising from cargo, hire and freight payments, vessel sale and purchase and shipbuilding contracts, as well as marine insurance and charterparty claims.

– Assisting in loan documentation drafting and attending closing meetings in respect of deliveries of two vessels whilst acting for a Greek lender in a $12m loan facility.
