Position

Partner specialising in public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions, as well as in securities law, advising leading industrial groups and institutional investors on complex cross-border transactions, and major investment funds on a large number of transactions, including LBOs, takeover offers, and PtoPs. Recent work includes advising Goldman Sachs PE with respect to the 70 million dollar Series C funding round of LumApps; Transdev and its controlling shareholder Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations on the sale by Veolia of its 30% stake in Transdev to Rethmann Group; Safran on its public offer for Zodiac Aerospace; Air France-KLM on the sale of 49.9% of the share capital and operational control of Servair to HNA (Gategroup); and OpenGate Capital on the acquisition of Umicore’s zinc chemicals business and of Bois & Matériaux.

Career

Before joining BDGS Associés in 2014 as partner, Thomas Meli was counsel at Linklaters where he started his career in 2004. He was seconded to Caisse des dépôts et consignations for a 7-month period in 2009.
