Freeths LLP’s wide-ranging expertise spans not only property development, securitisation, planning, construction and procurement work, but also extends to housing management governance and employment, especially for registered providers and arms-length management organisations. It also handles shared ownership sales. Gary Reynolds leads the team, which recently experienced an uptick in golden brick development agreements and alternative funding structures such as joint ventures; recent highlights include advising Nottingham Community Housing Association on a development which the client acquired jointly with the local council, involving separate golden brick agreements, but separate infrastructure. Matthew Grocock is also noted. Bellway Homes, Longhurst & Havelok Homes and Greensquare Group are also clients.
