Position
Shama is a qualified solicitor, currently working as a professional support lawyer. She is also our E-Learning Co-ordinator and assists with a variety of projects around Freeths. These include writing training courses (including an online and gaming application), maintaining know-how for regulatory compliance, managing the firm’s membership on various external panels (conveyancing and personal injury, and managing our CQS accreditation with the Law Society.
Shama is a member of the Nottinghamshire Law Society’s Education & Training Committee, a national Law Society Social Mobility Ambassador, and a national Law Society Council Member for Ethnic Minorities and an ex officio member of the Ethnic Minority Lawyers Division. She is also a Diversity & Inclusive group member.
