Position

Denis is a consultant at the firm and key member of the family team. Denis is one of Peterborough and Cambridge’s leading family lawyers and has worked with children and families in the Peterborough area for over 30 years. Denis is accredited by Resolution in dealing with complex financial arrangements following the breakdown of relationships in cases involving people with medium or high incomes, valuable assets, tax implications and sometimes foreign and company or partnership issues. He is particularly experienced in dealing with complex childcare cases and has extensive Guardianship expertise. In 2013 he was appointed to the Cambridge Family Justice Board.

Career

Trained Peterborough; qualified 1976; partner Hunt & Coombs 1991. Denis became a consultant at Hunt & Coombs in 2017. Denis was formerly chairman of Peterborough and District Round Table and having been chairman of a local primary school Board of Governors for many years, is now a secondary school Governor. He is the chairman of the Diocese of East Anglia Safeguarding Commission and Vice-Chairman of Drinksense.
