Career
He was in-house counsel at Banca Cattolica S.p.A. and afterwards associate at the Rome office of the international law firm Baker & McKenzie. In 2001 he co-founded the firm Portolano Colella Cavallo where he led the IP, Outsourcing and Technology practices of the firm for over ten years. In 2012 Domenico joined Orsingher Avvocati Associati. Domenico has an outstanding experience in assisting Italian and foreign clients on matters pertaining to information technology, especially in connection with outsourcing projects and M&A deals. In those fields, he is often called upon by his clients – market leaders – to handle the most complex projects in Italy. He is a lecturer of the Master on Business Law at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, has authored various publications on Information Technology and outsourcing contract law, has co-authored the “Doing Business” report published by the World Bank. He was admitted to practice in 1997 and to pleed before Italian supreme court in 2011.
