With nearly 30 years of experience, Mr. Alsuwaidi has achieved great success and amassed extensive experience in resolving disputes in the Middle East region. The bulk of his practice revolves around resolving “disputes through litigation, arbitration or alternative dispute resolution. He diligently devotes time to advising clients on cost effective and early dispute resolution measures such as mediation or structured negotiation. Mr. Alsuwaidi’s keen foresight and vast experience have also given him the knowledge to counsel his clients on contract compliance and other dispute preventative measures. Mr. Alsuwaidi is often called on to sit as an arbitrator in both local and international arbitrations and is known as ‘the UAE law expert’ among his peers in the legal community. Mr. Alsuwaidi is also regularly involved in ICC, DIAC and LCIA arbitrations as an advocate. Before establishing Al Suwaidi & Company, Mr. Alsuwaidi was the General Counsel of Emirates General Petroleum Corporation.

He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Human Rights Association in the UAE.
