Career
Kristian Gustav Andersson heads Lundgrens’ Restructuring and Insolvency team. Kristian is an experienced and recognized reconstruction and bankruptcy trustee and handles some of Denmark’s most complex insolvency proceedings. He advises distressed companies on all legal and strategic aspects of insolvency law, including the possibilities within the restructuring schemes.
Additionally, he assists banks and other financial institutions, as well as other Danish and international clients in handling their creditor rights. Kristian is also part of Lundgrens’ oil and gas team advising large stakeholders in the North Sea on the legal matters within the industry and on M&A transactions.

Kristian holds a master of laws degree (LL.M.) from King’s College London.

Advising a broad range of clients, Lundgrens represents both borrowers and lenders in out-of-court restructurings, debt for equity swaps, bankruptcy proceedings and general insolvency and claw-back litigation. Practice head Kristian Gustav Andersson acts as trustee to major Danish banks, advising on the full spectrum of issues, including assisting with company pledges and other securities mandates. Pernille Bigaard and Louise Krarup Simonsen joined from Skau Reipurth & Partnere in 2022.
