Career

Admitted 1983, Athens, Supreme Court. Legal Advisor to the Deputy Minister for National Economy in Greece (1988); the Bank of Greece, since 1989; the Chairman of the Athens Stock Exchange for the establishment of the Athens Derivatives Exchange and its privatisation (1994-1996); the Government of Cyprus for the harmonisation with the European Legislation and the modernization of the Cypriot Capital Market Law, chairing the Committee for the drafting of the Parliamentary Acts on Capital Markets Legislation (2000-2004); the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority for the drafting of the new Law on Corporate and Municipal Bonds through the EBRD. Since 2000 he teaches Financial Services Law at the ALBA Graduate Business School.
