Position

Frank is a director at Vardags and head of the civil litigation department. With over 30 years’ experience in the field, Frank specialises in commercial litigation and all forms of alternative dispute resolution. His clients cover a broad spectrum, from quoted and private multinational companies through to SMEs and high net worth individuals.

Frank’s ‘dogged determination’ and creative approach to litigation has seen him find solutions to complex, high value disputes across a range of industries, from construction and contentious property to healthcare and public procurement. Frank has extensive experience in acting for senior executives and shareholders in issues arising in the employment context. He frequently manages professional negligence claims, joint venture and shareholder disputes, and cases involving the enforcement and enforceability of post-termination restraints. Frank is extremely well-versed in enforcing and dealing with pre-trial injunctions.

Frank regularly advises on disputes in foreign jurisdictions where the contract between the parties is expressed to be governed by English law, for example Hong Kong, China, Saudi Arabia, France, and Belgium.

Career

Before he joined Vardags as a Director in July 2016, Frank was a partner at a leading West End firm. A respected authority on all issues related to commercial litigation and contentious employment disputes, Frank has featured on Channel 4 News and the BBC News to discuss the Uber employment tribunal. Frank has featured in the press as well as broadcast, and recently commented on the legal issues of AI and driverless cars.
