Position

Alex is a Partner and head of Reputation & Privacy at Vardags. She regularly acts for individuals and companies in times of crisis, helping clients manage complex problems sensitively and discreetly. With particular expertise in pre- and post-publication and broadcast issues in libel and bribery, she has worked to defend clients against national newspapers, websites, blog sites, and social media. Alex has also advised extensively on threats from non-media sources such as disgruntled employees.

Career

Alex undertook her legal training at a Magic Circle firm, which included a 6 month secondment to the Prince’s Trust. Before she joined Vardags, Alex spent 8 years working at a leading media law firm in London.

In 2019 Alex was listed in Management Today‘s 35 under 35 celebrating Britain’s top women business leaders. She is ranked in the Citywealth Leaders list, and has been featured in The Telegraph.

Education

Alex read Law at Queens’ College, Cambridge, before completing her LPC with distinction at the College of Law.
