Career
Tiago Caiado Guerreiro heads the Tax department, leading the team in international taxation and tax planning, stamp duty, tax inspections, VAT, administrative and judicial tax litigation, regulatory charges and tax arbitration. In addition, Tiago Caiado Guerreiro has assisted national and large multinational companies in restructuring operations related to different taxes and issues involving the application of double taxation treaties and European Tax Law. As part of his activity, he has also actively worked on transfer pricing (drafting agreements and litigating), derivatives, financial products, and securitization.
He is also a member of the Scientific Board of the Chartered Accountants Chamber, the Scientific Board of the Forum for Competitiveness, and the VAT Club. Additionally, he acts as a tax arbitrator, is a Portuguese Bar Association juror for the Tax Expert Assessment,, and is an arbitrator at the Centre for Administrative Arbitration, where he has taken part in several arbitrations.
Tiago Caiado Guerreiro is a member of the Portuguese Industry Board in the Confederation of Portuguese Business (CIP), being responsible for the Corporate Taxation and Competitiveness Working Group.
He is frequently invited to national and international conferences as a speaker. He is also a regular commentator on the most well-known television channels, such as RTP, SIC and TVI.

Tiago Caiado Guerreiro is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados) and of the Brazilian Bar Association-São Paulo (OAB).
He is also member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), of the International Tax Planning Association, of the Portuguese Fiscal Association, of the Scientific Board of the Chartered Accountants Chamber, and of the Scientific Board of the Forum for Competitiveness..
Tiago Caiado Guerreiro is also a Portuguese Bar Association juror for the Tax Expert Assessment, whose minimum requirements are: proof of 10-year legal tax practice law and publications. In addition, he is arbitrator at the Centre for Administrative Arbitration, where he has taken part in several arbitrations in such capacity
Additionally, Tiago Caiado Guerreiro acts as Vice-President of the Portuguese Property Owners Association (APPROP).
