Stijn specialises in litigation in the fields of private international law, procedural law, contract law, and seizure (attachment) law. He has written several articles in legal journals covering these areas of practice.

Furthermore, Stijn has experience with (civil and commercial) litigation before the Belgian Supreme Court (Hof van Cassatie/Cour de Cassation). He is employed part-time as a teaching assistant (in procedural law) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Previously, Stijn was also a part-time teaching assistant at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
