Career
Zdeněk Husták is a Partner and Head of Regulation & Compliance at BBH with legal expertise also including financial markets and financial services, as well as civil and criminal liability for legal entities, competition, personal data protection and cyber security. Mr. Husták has worked as a legal advisor for major banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions, both Czech and international. He is a member of the ČNB Appeal Committee, an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic and served as a member of the European Banking Authority (EBA) Advisory Board and the European Insurance and Pension Funds Authority (EIOPA). He is also involved in publishing activities in the area of financial markets, including the leading team of authors commenting on the Act on Capital Market Undertakings and lecturing at both domestic and foreign conferences and seminars. Zdeněk also lectures at the University of Economics in Prague and the Faculty of Law in Brno.
Zdeněk is registered in the lists of liquidators and forced administrators maintained by the CNB for an investment firm, a market operator, an operator of a settlement systems, a management companies, investment funds and a main administrators.
