Position

Koen is a partner and member of the Board of Directors of Tiberghien.

He heads the Tiberghien HR tax team. He focuses on the complete range of topics concerning HR tax, in particular for bankers, insurance companies and pension funds.

Koen has special expertise on pensions and pension funds. This makes him the main tax advisor for the pension fund sector, in particular BAPI (Belgian Association of Pension Institutions) as well as the Belgian Government.

Koen also has an extensive experience in advising specific groups of private persons, like ‘Nederbelgen’ and sportsmen and artists.

Career

Koen joined Tiberghien in 1997 and became a partner in 2002. He lectures at the Leuven University on international aspects of pension taxation and he is an editor of the Tiberghien Manual.
