Meritxell is member of the Board of Directors of the Firm. She is based in Milan and Barcelona (Spain). She heads our leading Spanish desk in Milan and she is the Managing Partner of the Barcelona office.

Career

Meritxell Roca Ortega joined Pavia e Ansaldo in 1996 and became partner in 2009.

Admitted to the Spanish Bar, 1992.

Admitted to the Italian Bar, 1996.

Her credentials include advising Threestones Capital Management on its acquisitions of all of its nursing homes in Spain (the last 5 acquisitions in t2022 and the beginning of 2023) and on the financing of a group of them with Societé Generale for €69,5 Mio signed between July 2022 and October 2022; advising a major arm of Spanish manufacturing giant Fermator on its highly complex acquisition of an Italian competitor, and acting for the Italian subsidiary of chemicals giant Stahl on a major cooperation agreement with significant Spanish elements.
