Taher Group Law Firm Co. LLC (TAG) was established in 1969 in Kuwait by Dr Jamal Eddin Ateyyah, a renowned attorney at law and holder of a Ph.D. in International Law from the French Sorbonne University. The firm was later joined by Mr Abdul Aziz Taher Al-Khateeb, one of the earliest registered lawyers by the Bar Association, and Mr Khaled Taher Al-Khateeb, Mr Jamal Taher Al-Khateeb, and Dr Fawaz Khaled Al-Khateeb along with other expert lawyers. With over 20 lawyers specializing in diverse areas of law including business, commercial, corporate, family, personal, estates, and other areas, many of the current lawyers have been practicing at the firm for over 55 years.

In addition to its Kuwait headquarters, TAG opened a law firm in Cairo Egypt in 2015, headed by Attorney Mohamed Ghoneimi as the executive partner.

The firm offers legal advice in cross-national commercial transactions and arbitrations involving laws of various common law and civil law jurisdictions, including that of the USA and the UK. Its International Department is traditionally headed by a foreign-qualified international attorney who fluently speaks English and possesses the requisite legal experience.
