Career
Olena is one of the firm’s most active and experienced litigators. With more than 20 years of practical experience in dispute resolution, Olena specialises in commercial disputes, banking and finance, bankruptcy and restructuring.
Olena has a unique track record of representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings, having advised both lenders and borrowers. She also specialises in tax disputes, antitrust and competition matters.
Olena’s industry focus is on energy, banking, agribusiness, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. She regularly advises AFirst Ukrainian International Bank, Ovostar Union, Cargill Ukraine, Bunge Ukraine, Scatec Solar Solutions, Holleman Ukraine, FC Kontraktovyi Dim (EasyPay), AVK Confectionery Corporation, FedEx, Fozzy Group, Grawe Ukraine, Mykolaiv shipbuilding plant Ocean and many others.
Olena is a bankruptcy expert in EU project “Pravo-Justice” and member of the working group at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on improvement of bankruptcy legislation.
In the end of 2021, she was elected to the Board of the Ukrainian national insolvency trustee association (UNITA). In 2023, she was the program coordinator of the 1st National Forum “Insolvency and Bankruptcy in Ukraine. Challenges of wartime” forum held by the UNITA.
