Position

Lorenzo Balzano is one of the founding partner of Kalliopé. He assists his clients, project developers, industrials and investors for all real estate-related matters (land management, construction, leases, audit of real estate asset purchases and sales, “Grenelle” regulation and asset “greenisation” issues, etc.).

Lorenzo has also developed a renowned expertise in industrial environment law (classified facilities, wastes, restoration of polluted sites, sanitary regulations applicable to property goods – asbestos, xylophagous insects, plumbism, legionella, etc.).

Career

Lorenzo Balzano is one of the original founder of Kalliopé in 2008. Before that, he has been a member of the Paris bar since 2001. He also is a RICS-accredited Chartered Surveyor (“Environment”). Before founding Kalliopé, Lorenzo practiced in the real estate department of the well-known Lefèvre Pelletier & Associés (2001-2007).

He teaches at continuing legal education programmes and participates in colloquia in his areas of expertise.

Lorenzo has graduated from Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) law school (DESS real estate and construction law, 1999) and audited the DEA in environment law’s classes at La Sorbonne (Paris I) law school (2002).
