Career

He has vast experience in the areas of corporate finance, financial services and commercial litigation. He advises major Italian companies and international groups in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, structured finance, private equity and venture capital transactions. He has developed a significant practice in regulatory matters, the issuing and placement of securities of both listed and unlisted companies and IPOs. He advises asset managers, SGRs, SIMs, financial intermediaries, SICAVs and mutual and RE funds in their ordinary and extraordinary operations, investment placements and regulatory compliance. From 1984 to 1986 he was professor in Private Comparative Law at the University of Trento and from 1986 to 1992, professor in The Fundamentals of Civil Law at Bocconi University.
