Career

Elena was appointed a member of INTA Commercialization of Brands Committee for the term of 2020-2021. Personally ranked lawyer in IP Stars (Trade mark Star 2019-2020), Legal 500 EMEA, WTR 1000, Best Lawyers, Pravo.Ru-300 and Kommersant ratings. Elena has over 15 years of working experience as an IP lawyer, both in international law firms and in-house. She specializes in protection and enforcement of IP rights, both contentious and non-contentious. Elena represents clients in various IP administrative proceedings and infringement actions. She also advises on a wide range of transactional and commercial IP matters, as well as on issues of lawful use of IP in advertising, personal data protection and unfair competition relating to IP. Elena’s area of expertise also includes certain regulatory issues in pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining KIAP Elena worked at a local law firm, at a Russian automotive holding company, as well as at Moscow offices of Hogan Lovells, Baker & McKenzie and White & Case.
