The practice at FBK Legal expanded its expertise through its merger with St. Petersburg-based firm NB Legal Agency in 2019. The group is led out of the Moscow office, where managing partner Nadezhda Orlova, tax litigator Galina Akchurina and tax consulting expert Tatiana Matveicheva are the key contacts. The department garners praise for its tax work across contentious and non-contentious mandates, and provides the full scope of tax-related advice at a domestic and cross-border level. The team also increasingly focuses on tax monitoring services, and has recently launched a new tax monitoring group, chaired by Alexander Grigoriev. Tatiana Golovaneva and Mikhail Golovanev are also noted by clients. Dmitry Paramonov joined Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (Russia) LLP in 2020.
