Position

Alexandra is Managing Associate within VASS Lawyers. Her practice focuses on public procurement, concessions, PPP and dispute resolution. She has considerable experience in assisting Romanian and foreign companies in complex projects in the infrastructure, contructions, real estate, utilities, energy and natural resources sectors.

Career

Alexandra has gained experience as a litigation lawyer in disputes of administrative or civil nature in various domains such as unfair financial corrections, free access to public information, debt recovery, forced executional matters, employment litigation, contract performance, real estate claims, landed fund, insolvency and bankruptcy and even criminal business law. Moreover, Alexandra specializes in advising and representing either contracting authorities or economic operators before the National Council for Solving Complaints and the competent courts of law in complex disputes having as subject public procurement procedures and public procurement contracts. Besides her involvement in dispute resolution matters, Alexandra has extensive professional experience in public procurement, supporting over time both contracting authorities and economic operators in the process of awarding public procurement contracts, including projects financed through European Funds. Hence, Alexandra has provided legal assistance to a major real estate company regarding the organization of the tender procedures for the supply of equipment to a leisure complex, financed from European funds. Also, the most important projects undertaken include the organization of procedures and drafting the awarding documentation for an ecological restoration project financed from European funds within the Sectoral Operational Programme Environment.

Education

Alexandra graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest in 2010 and, in 2012, completed both the courses of a Master’s degree in Business Law at the Faculty of Law, University Titu Maiorescu, and of the National Training Institute for Lawyers.
