Position

Yvonne specialises in employment law, acting for employers and senior executives. She also advises on partnership and LLP issues, including membership rights and disputes. She regularly advises both partnerships and members on rights and obligations, governance issues and disputes. Yvonne covers all aspects of employment law, with a particular interest and expertise in complex TUPE issues, employment status issues and fiduciary duties and protection of confidential information, particularly in relation to team moves. Notable cases include successful defence of a claim for employment status by a self-employed agent of NFU Mutual Insurance Society – one of the UKs largest insurance companies, a number of team move projects for Brewin Dolphin plc and others in the financial services sector, and advice for many organisations including NFUM, Mediaforce UK Limited and Simcorp Limited on managing TUPE obligations in the context of significant commercial transactions. Yvonne lead a team conducting a major due diligence project on HR aspects in relation to ASL Aviation’s acquisition of Farnair, a Swiss Airline.
