Career
He has been a member of the Law Firm since 2014. Before he had been associated with primary Italian and foreign law firms, such as Bonelli Erede Pappalardo of Milan, Amarjit & Advocates of New Dehli, the Intellectual Property Group of Matheson, Ormsby, Prentice of Dublin, and – as partner – MCM Avvocati of Milan.
He deals with IP (i.e., trademarks, domain names and other distinctive signs, designs and models, patents and know-how, copyright and unfair competition) and misleading and comparative advertising litigation before ordinary courts, the Italian Competition Authority and the Italian Advertising Standards Authority. He assists clients in the drafting and negotiating of licence and assignment agreements, technology transfer contracts, publication contracts, testimonial and influencer marketing agreements, software-related agreements, terms and conditions referring to e-commerce platform, mobile app and social networks. He has also extensive experience in consultancy and litigation regarding data protection matters, and he assists clients in complex cybersecurity projects. Together with the other members of the IT Group, he is currently involved in assisting Italian and multinational companies in the compliance process to the European General Data Protection Regulation (n. 679/2016).
He is also Expert of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan for the disputes related to domain names “.it”.
He cooperates with the Chair of Industrial Property Law of the University of Milan Bicocca – Law School and Intellectual Property Law (patent law) of the Degree Course in Industrial Biotechnologies – Science Dept. He is author of several publications and teaches trademark and design protection, advertising and unfair competition law in both master and specialization courses.

The practice is co-led by IP specialist Gianluca De Cristofaro, whose work covers data protection and cybersecurity, as well as IT and internet law.
