Career
Katerina Politopoulou joined Your Legal Partners in June 2008 and became a partner in November 2008. She focuses on banking and finance, project finance, energy, real estate, public-private partnerships (PPPs), privatisations, corporate and M&A. She has headed the firm’s team on major structured finance transactions and M&A deals.
She has acted for sponsors and all Greek banks in major project finance transactions both in Greek and English (including most recently the Piraeus Tower Concession Project Finance). Her practice includes the negotiation of project documents in the context of infrastructure and RES projects. She also has experience in concessions (currently heading our team in the project for the privatization of Alexandroupolis and Igoumenitsa ports) and PPP projects, acting for sponsors both during the tender process and the financing of PPP projects (including all Schools PPPs, in which our law firm has been involved and the Thessaloniki Flyover PPP).
