Asger Heine Jensen has extensive experience with commercialisation and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He advises foreign and Danish companies whose business revolve around IP rights on e.g. R&D matters, joint ventures, licensing, investment, private placements, M&A and transactional matters. He has extensive legal and commercial experience with respect to advising clients within the IT and Media and Entertainment segments, and his practice includes numerous computer game producers.
Asger is an experienced litigator, and he has over the years represented numerous domestic and international clients in both IP and commercial litigations before arbitration courts and national courts, including the Supreme Court, as well as the European Court of Justice.

Horten‘s IP and technology group is jointly led by Asger Heine Jensen and Jakob Krag Nielsen. It has expertise across patents, trade marks and copyright issues, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters. The group is particularly strong in litigation, with Jensen and Nielsen having extensive experience in this area; the latter also advises on the commercialisation of IP rights and the implementation of IP strategies. Jens Grønkjær Sjølander Pihl‘s arrival in April 2021 has bolstered the team’s offering in licensing and IP matters relating to IT law.
