Alessandro Botto is a partner of the Administrative Law department. He has a strong experience in the contracts and public utility sector and he is also a major litigator.

He was a member of the Consiglio di Stato, Rome (1994-2012).
He was Chief of staff or President of the Legislative Office of various Ministers. He was also a member of the Consiglio di Presidenza della magistratura amministrativa, Segretario Generale dell’Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni, and member of the board of the Authority in charge of supervising public contracts.
He teaches Public Contracts Law and Regulation at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome since 2011. He has been elected President of the Regulations Board of IGI – Italian Institute of Major Infrastructures in 2015.
