Giuseppe is co-head of the Real Estate Department. He is specialised in administrative law, with a focus on town-planning and building issues. He gained a remarkable experience in proceedings for the issuance of administrative authorizations and in drafting of real-estate contracts. He is constantly involved in deals related to the construction, management, buying and selling of shopping centers, offices, industrial complexes, residential buildings, hospitality structures and energy plants. He assisted primary clients in the most important transactions completed in Italy in recent years, including the sale of the Sole 24 Ore headquarter, designed by Renzo Piano, the acquisition of the new Dentons headquarter, the indirect acquisition of 6 shopping centers and of the new hub occupied by Amazon in Piedmont.f Sole 24 Ore, designed by Renzo Piano, the acquisition of the new Dentons headquarter, the indirect acquisition of 6 shopping centers and of the new hub occupied by Amazon in Piedmont.

The firm recently assisted Hines Italy with the acquisition and related financing of a flagship building in via della Spiga 26, Milan.
Legance – Avvocati Associati‘s administrative practice continued its expansion in 2020, with Maria Cristina Breida joining from R&P Legal to lead the environmental department. The wider administrative law team is comprised of several sub-groups. The real estate team is headed up by Giuseppe Abbruzzese, who also coordinates the town planning practice; and Cristina Martorana is the key name for the energy sector group. Alessandro Botto and Filippo Pacciani also lead the administrative law practice and have extensive knowledge of contracts, public utilities and tender procedures, both in and out of court. Food law is another area of expertise for the group, led by senior counsel Alessandra Palatini.
