Position

Gerbrand Schrickx, partner and civil law notary, has extensive expertise in commercial real estate who is involved in all facets of notarial and other real estate work. These range from complex deliveries, mortgages, auctions, establishing commercial rights, subdivision of condominium rights and investment transactions through to setting up, advising on and supervising real estate projects and related corporate law. He also leads the Family Law team and is consequently involved in the settlement of estates and other aspects related to family law and inheritance.

Education

Gerbrand graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in Dutch Law (in Private Law and Business Law) in 1996 and from Amsterdam University (in notarial law). He also studied in the United Kingdom at the University of Hull and the London School of Economics. In 2002, Gerbrand successfully completed the post-graduate course in Company Law & Corporate Law at the Grotius Academy, as well as their Financing & Collateral course in 2004.
