Career
Kağan Dora is a well-known corporate lawyer in Turkey with comprehensive knowledge and experience in a number of sectors including, IT, defense, advertising, telecoms, media and entertainment. Kağan’s work in these areas have been recognized by leading legal directories such as the Legal500 including praise from his clients on his work in technology sector.
Prior to founding his own firm that has his name, Kağan Dora worked as in-house legal counsel and contract manager in Aselsan, a leading company in Turkish defense sector; and, he also held the role of legal counsel in the risk and contracts management department of Siemens Business Services/Turkey. During his tenure in Siemens Business Services, he took an active role in certain system integration and outsourcing projects in information sector.
He has been awarded with Clients’ Choice Award in 2016 by Financial Review in Information Technologies and Internet sectors. He provides project based and regular legal advice to many Turkish and international clients. Kağan also holds a CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) certificate on management of personal data in multinational companies.
