Career

Mina undertakes all aspects of corporate and commercial law work including reviewing and negotiating various complex commercial contracts, participating in legal due diligence processes, acting as legal counsel to companies wishing to participate in public tenders in Greece and drafting legal opinions on various commercial and labour law matters. She frequently provides legal advice to multinational companies for the establishment of companies and branch offices in Greece and for compliance with national laws and regulatory matters while drafting and implementing compliance policies. Further, Mina has over 15 years’ experience in dealing with data protection matters and intellectual property cases.

Mina began her law career in London UK where she obtained work experience on various commercial agreements mainly relating to the licensing of software and computer equipment working for Fujitsu’s Legal Department in Slough, UK. As a senior legal consultant in the European division of the English legal consultancy Lawspeed Limited based in Brighton she acted in a wide range of cases involving recruitment and employment law as well IP, Tax, Data Protection, IT and E-commerce law for well-known UK and international companies.

Since 2014, Mina heads the legal department of ICAP, the only credit rating agency in Greece approved by ESMA and has developed strong business acumen serving as general counsel to 10 companies of the group in Greece and in Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria, identifying and mitigating legal risks, while balancing the same with commercial aspects in order to facilitate the business goals. She is also currently serving as an external counsel to the Firm providing valuable advice and her expertise in various projects for clients mainly active in the electrical equipment manufacturing, business management consulting and real estate sectors and participating in M&A due diligence processes.
