Construction law. Mantas has considerable experience in construction regulatory matters, which enables him to provide extensive legal advice on the full property life cycle (from development to maintenance). His strong background in contractual matters is highly valued by clients seeking advice on concluding design and construction contracts.
Broad understanding of real estate development. Mantas has had the privilege of advising clients in a variety of real estate development projects from manufacturing and infrastructure (eg construction of LNG Terminal) to development of commercial and administrative buildings (eg Technopolis Ozas campus). Understanding the peculiarities of developing specific property allows him to focus on the most important aspects of each project.
Territorial planning. Mantas has extensive practical experience in advising clients on territorial planning issues, such as selecting a site for development, amending territorial planning documents and submitting planning proposals.
Real estate transactions. Mantas advises clients on all real estate transactional matters, including selling and purchasing property and joint ventures for development of property. A synergy of regulatory expertise and transactional experience enables me to provide precise solutions for our clients.
Free economic zones (FEZs). Mantas has assisted state authorities in launching 5 FEZs (in 2011-2013) and advised private investors on maintaining operations in FEZs. In 2018 Mantas represented a group of investors in a tender concerning selecting a FEZ operator. The client ‒ whom he also advised on all matters related to commencing FEZ activities ‒ won the tender.
