Position

As an experienced domestic and international tax adviser and employment lawyer, in my role as a counsel with Sorainen since 2013 I combine professional legal knowledge and a business-minded attitude.

Career

Optimal tax solutions in multi-faceted processes. I provide full-scope tax consulting for medium and large companies, working on projects involving complex company tax reviews and optimization. Additionally, I advise clients on research and development rebates as well as investment project application matters.

Strong knowledge of employment regulation. An additional specialization in employment law allows me to provide tax-effective solutions in matters such as employee relocation and activity structuring, new workforce hiring and optimization of employee compensation. I have assisted numerous companies with a corporate presence in different countries in structuring employment and management agreements in order to achieve the best administrative and tax mechanics.

Representing clients in taxation disputes and negotiations. As an advocate’s assistant, I have solid experience in representing clients in taxation disputes and negotiations and in meetings with the tax administrator. One of the most significant and challenging cases I have worked on was a dispute with the State Tax Inspectorate concerning 0% VAT applicability. The dispute resulted in a practice-changing decision that saved our client up to EUR 2 million in VAT, fines and interest.
