Partner, co-head of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction team in Lithuania

Aušra Mudėnaitė is a co-head of the firm’s Real Estate and Construction team in Lithuania.

Long-standing player. In over two decades of a career as a real estate lawyer, Aušra has gained experience in all fields related to the real estate and construction business, including all types of transactions, litigation and regulatory matters. Her strengths are a profound knowledge of the real estate business and understanding clients’ matters in the wider context.

Versatile and agile. Unlike many other lawyers, who choose either to be transactional lawyers or litigation attorneys, Aušra is versatile and often do both types of work. Although this is a demanding professional lifestyle, it opens up different perspectives, allows her to maintain a practical approach and ensures the sharpness of the solutions she delivers to clients.

Development advice from A to Z. In recent years Aušra has been primarily focusing on assignments related to real estate development. Aušra is passionate about working hand in hand with urban developers, architects and engineers, and contributing to development of Lithuanian cities, new generation industry growth in the regions, planning and construction of landmark infrastructure objects. Her contribution in these projects usually starts with finding the right land plot for the project and evaluation stage and lasts throughout completion of the project. Of course, Sorainen work is not over yet – the team is always ready to assist in project-related lease, sale, financing, management, insurance, taxation and other matters. Knowing the project right from its birth helps Sorainen craft the most efficient solutions for our clients.

Zoning, heritage, protected areas. Aušra is one of the very few lawyers in Lithuania who deeply specialize in zoning, heritage protection and regulation of protected areas. She has taken part in many precedent-setting cases and advised prominent developers on dealing with issues related to zoning, heritage protection and protected areas.

Speaking for developers. As a board member of the Lithuanian Developers Association, Aušra contributes to legislation processes and to solving questions that are relevant for all developers as well as maintaining close working relations with state authorities in charge of supervision and regulation of the real estate and construction sectors.
